Tamang Heritage trail trekking destination is just a day long bus from capital to Syabrubenshi. Which is one of the nearest trekking destination from the capital city.   It is a stirring new trekking destination which situated between Langtang and Ganesh himal.

People of this area are completely Tamang peoples. They are culturally rich in Tibetan tradition & culture.  Tamang Heritage Trail is one of the unique off beaten path of hiking in Nepal. The route passes through Tamang villages where one has the opportunity to see and experience Tamang village life style culture and arts have remain the same from the starting arrangement pleasant traditional welcome presented by ( the Tamang) a local peoples. The main ethnic group of this area are Tamang. They are mainly Buddhist and many residents in the region are of Tibetan descent.

A place Nagthali is another natural and cultural beauty place, which is situated at elevation of 3165m from the sea level.  A magnificent panoramic view of snow capped mountains, Langtang, Kerung, Ganesh and Sanjen himal ranges all around is a special attraction of the place which gives you the feeling of  being close to heaven. Nagthali is also known by the popular meditation center  for local monks and priest

While on Tamang Heritage Trail before Nagthali, there is a place called Tatopani, in Nepali language that means “hot water”, one can be purify ourselves religiously in natural hot springs with bathing areas in the lap of the mountains. Local peoples are come to believe that if anyone can take a bath by that hot water ( tatopani ) will able to treat  your any muscular aches and pains.

This trek provides varieties of experience of Tamang rituals and Tibetan culture traditional architecture. This Tamang Heritage trail trek starts from Syabrubenshi and passes through Gatlang, Tatopani,  Nagthali and Briddim respectively and trek ends at Syabrubenshi or can make your next trip to Langtang valley by continuing from Briddim valley.
