Ang Karma Sherpa, Founder Chairman: studied law at Kathmandu’s Tribhuwan University and later studied journalism at the Stephen Gheorghe Academy in Bucharest, Romania. He has climbed extensively in Nepal and overseas and was the first Sherpa to the summit of Mt. Everest from the Tibet side in 1985. He is a life member of Sherpa Community Center, Kathmandu, and has served as the General Secretary of both the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) and Nepal Mountaineering Federation. (NMF).
