Snowman Trek that takes place in the remotest region is also the hardest trek of Bhutan because of the altitude. Not only this, it is also the longest trek of Bhutan. However, the interesting traits of this trek are pristine landscape, jovial people, and intact Buddhist religion.The Trekking trail of Snowman Trek passes by six mountains that are above 7000 m, and it is from these mountains that the trek got its name. The starting point of this trek is Drukgyel Dzong from where the trail heads to Jhomolhari (7314m), the third highest mountains of Bhutan. Its trekking trail also passes through villages that have not changed for hundreds of years, as well as through the region of faunas and floras, such as blue pine, juniper, rhododendron forests, and blue sheep. The cultural aspect of Snowman Trek is experienced when you visit Punakha and Thimphu, before heading to these places, you drive in a vehicle.
